Waterdrop X Series Reverse Osmosis System, X8
I recently upgraded from a Kinetico K10, which was starting to degrade just a few months after each filter replacement. After doing some research into reverse osmosis systems, I found the X8 to be a great option.
Installing it was easier than expected—I had to drill a hole in my quartz worktop, which I was initially nervous about, but it turned out to be straightforward. You just need a 1" diamond tip drill hole cutter.
I've had the system fitted for a few months now, and I’m really happy with it. The smart tap is a great feature—though it would be nice if a polished chrome option were available to match our existing tap.
Compared to my old system, it's noticeably quieter, and the built-in TDS reading is pretty accurate (I’ve checked it against my own TDS meter).

Excellent clean water from a very hard supply. The taste difference is incredible but I mainly bought for the health benefits. Easy enough to install with an excellent manual. Automatic tube clamps work excellent but I had to use a spanner to take the tubes out (to hold the plastic clamps down) but I'm happy with this secure solution. 10/10 Highly recommended!!!!
